Hey gang, I been reading a bunch of threads on towing. Sounds like the auto trannys are problematic. I have always driven a stick on my previous Tacos. Got my 2019 Sport with the manual. I can tow my 4800 lb boat & trailer down the freeway at 75 doing 2500 RPM and 14 mpg. Really no big deal accelerating and certainly downshifting thru any of the 6 gears. If I want to rev the hell out of it, I can. In any gear. I generally don't need to however. The ONLY bitch I have is reverse trailer parking in tight spaces. Not towing, that engine / Stick combo can get up and jump.
