The fact you know of this lookout is awesome, its paradise up here! I've hike it once but usually come up here a dozen times a year on the ATV but gave it a shot in the truck, met 2 quads and a dirtbike at the top and ln the way down - the shock and confusion on their face was pretty great:eek:

One buddy was like; why am i not surprised a Toyota is up here. Point it at a mountain and it'll climb it, they'll go anywhere.

Also took the truck swimming later, drove it off the deepend
    I am a comedic genius

I'm sure that's not the first time you've been accused of "being off the deep end" :rimshot:

I heat my cabin with 25 face cord of wood every year and started using the X27 splitter about 8 years ago. At 4 1/2 pounds it will out split an 8 pound regular maul! I have never looked back and I also have an X17 which is a smaller version.

I agree with you and absolutely love these tools… Very durable and supposedly a lifetime guarantee.

When it comes to a chopper the higher end stuff like hulks bruks and granfors bruk do make a difference with your effectively they chip out wood.

I was lucky enough to try the GB splitter and honestly wasn't impressed. Sure it worked great but at the price? No different than the Fiskars that you can get on sale at crappy tire all the time at half the price of the GB.
That said the fiskars is still a pretty good chopper for the price.
