I need to touch up a few small paint chips some azzhat left on my driver's door... Blazing blue pearl. I'm thinking a touch up pen would be appropriate as they're all 2-3mm or less.

Am I wrong to think of using a pen? Are there any brands of paint pens to be avoided, or are preferred?
