Does anyone know if anything happens if I plastic dip the Toyota emblem on a 2019 Tacoma with the TSS?

There have been a few members put a vinyl decal over it and reported no issues.
The good thing with plasti dip is, its cheap and removable, so its worth a try.

Since the TSS works OK "looking" through the OE plastic emblem, and the plexiglass/lexan protectors on the Pro knock off grills, I'd bet that it'll work OK through Plasti-dip. I don't know of anyone trying it yet. You may get to be the lab rat.

The good news is that Plasti-dip can be removed if it doesn't work.

Edit: I have read of people tinting the emblem with good results.

It can penetrate a full 4000lb car, the plastidip just may cause slight inaccuracy.

    I wouldn't do it personally.

If anyone has done it let me know because if someone has already done it there is no point to try it if it’s going to block the sensor, because it’s going to be solid black, thanks
