I’m running into an issue with my Super Bumps. The leaf pack and u-bolt flip kit went on without issue but I can’t figure out how to mount the actual bump to the plate. The install video from wheelers is worthless on this part. I have the 4 bolts and hardware to mount the plates to the top of the U-bolt and I’m assuming the black Allen head bolts go through the actual bump and mount to something. But there’s nothing threaded for it to grab onto. Also that washer is too big to go inside the bump. I’m thoroughly confused and can’t find anything online.

I think the super bumps attach to the pedestal from the bottom. Once that’s attached you can bolt the assembly on top of the flip plate.

Looks like you’re missing the nuts for those bolts. Just go to the hardware store and get two washers and two nuts. Problem solved.

    No shit! Haha. Missed that.

OP, The four bolts you have thread into the u bolt flip plate and those are the two nuts for the bumps to brackets.

If nothing else I at least have an excuse now to re-torque the u-bolts like they recommend.

Is the top plate on the u-bolt kit threaded? I’m at work and don’t have it in front of me

Nothing wrong with making a small mistake as long as it all works out in the end. We’ve all been there.

I was removing my firestone airbags and I forgot what a pain in the ass those were to install. Took me longer to get those out than to change the leaf packs. Every bolt was hard to get a wrench on the back of.
