I was wondering. is there enough room behind that lower grille area to mount a light bar once a winch is in there? or does any winch pretty much take up that available space?

Hm okay that's what I figured. Wonder if you could mount a pod or two on each side of the winch behind the lower grille, any idea?

Sorry if it wasn't clear, I didn't mean shining through the lower holes, but on the sides of the winch behind the mesh area. Guessing it'll probably still be too tight though.

Wicked tight back there, you could do what I did and buy a Flipster V2 and get the additional piece to mount a small light bar.

I used the mount and hardware that came with it and put with fender washers behind the grille.

I personally dont think you need a light bar. I would buy a pair of Baja Designs Squadron Pros to replace your oem. Fog lights. You'll probably have all the lighting you need from those for sure without worrying about where to mount a light bar

Agreed I put in KC G4's when I did the bumper upgrade.

It likely would (with possible grille support trimming behind the bumper) but I wouldnt recommend it as the control lead would be a bit difficult to plug in all the way down on the winch. A winch with a movable control pack would be recommended vs the integrated like the one you pictured
