Hey I am looking at upgrading the speakers and adding a amplifier to my 2020 Tacoma with the 8 inch screen non jbl system. I would like to keep stock head unit. I bought these items

    Speakers:
    Kicker 6x9 44KSC69304
    Morel Tempo Ultra 602 Integra
    Metra 72-8104 speaker wiring harness

    Amp:
    Pioneer GM-D9605

    Line Out Converter:
    Audio Control LC7I

    Sound Deadening:
    Noico 80mm

    Wiring kit:
KnuKonceptz Kolossus 4 Gauge OFC kit

Curious if I missed anything for booking up to stock head unit, I don’t have the pioneers SP input harness anymore.

How are you hooking up the line out converter ? Are you cutting the factory wiring harness or did you find an aftermarket harness plug?

Is there a different part number now then? Or do I have to go a different route with that?

The Taco Toons 2018+ Camry add-an-amp harness is the only option I currently know of. Which stinks because it’s like $40. But it works

I’ve been following the other thread about this— this one from amazon has been verified to work in the 2020 but is $55. Looks cleaner than the taco tunes one I think. I’m still thinking about saving the money and just tapping into the factory wiring harness. Just want to make sure I know the correct color wires for the rear speakers. I already have a LOC from my old car that works perfect anyway.

This piece and the taco tunes harness have two very different purposes. This piece is a basic LOC tapped into the front speaker wires, for adding a subwoofer amp. The taco tunes harness is for adding a 4ch amp to the factory radio

The one from Amazon seems to also have a power line output— do you know if that one is constant power, or does it turn off and on with the head unit?

I’m only wanting to add a sub.

Turns on and off with the head unit

if you’re just adding a sub, the one from Amazon is what you want
