Need Help! Sound coming from truck

    So there's a sound what seems to be coming from underneath the passenger floor board. The nosie only happens when the truck is around 1700 RPMs. Whether it's accelerating past or cruising around those RPMs. I feel nothing in the peddles. Can someone please help !
    The truck is a 4 cylinder . It was a fleet vehicle and it has 144k miles

    @ScottW it's more like a metallic buzz. Happens during both driving straight and turning

    Check your backing plate. It may be touching the brake rotor. A bearing would normally be a drone or humming.

    Some of the 4 cylinder tacoma's have a recall for those cat pipes for a rattle issue.

    Could definitely be cat failure. Had that on my 2013.
