Really? I wondered what Kickapoo stands for. I think "Kickapoo on Lake Livingston" was an ad slogan in the 70' and 80's (maybe still is?).
I remember it as I learned to water ski on Lake Livingston many years ago.

 

Was Crow in it at the time? Didn’t think crows liked water...

One of many boat stories....
Took pops Glastron out to ski on the Pearl River (border between Mississippi and Louisiana). Pulled it with moms 280Z with a U haul hitch! Anyway, told Trey to put the plug in, tilt trailer, loaded up the beer and launched. Cruising around in some bayous looking for fishing holes and water starts gushing up from the ski slot in the floor. I ask Trey ‘did u put the fucking plug in??!!!’ ‘Yep’. ‘which way did you flip the lever, up or down?’ ‘Uhhh, down’. ‘FUCk!! You dumbass!’ Fucking plug was gone. Pinned that 140 and that boat stood nearly straight up! Took about 30 minutes of this shit to get the boat level enough to rush back to the launch. Had Trey stuff his thumb in the hole until we could mooch another off of some thirsty dude.
