    Hi! My name is Kevin and I have an addiction to Toyota's...wait, that was intended for another forum. Oh, well anyways I'm here because I bought (wait for it) a '20 Tacoma 4x4 Off-Road! I think I'm supposed to mention that it's a 6MT like ten more times during this post so bear with me :rolleyes:

    I did a *lot* of research, mostly from this site (and from a couple of patient friends who drive 2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma's and put-up with my endless questions) on just which Tacoma would fit my needs best. For my intended uses (road trips, light-to-medium four-wheeling, snow driving) I think the Tacoma will work just fine for me. Eventually it may become my tow rig but I'm waiting until I get a few more miles on my new toy before we test-out it's towing abilities.

    My Taco is my first brand-new truck, however it is not my first Toyota. That honor goes to my '93 T100 which I've had since I was in High School and it was still almost new. My GF drives a Highlander, four of my friends drive Taco's so my new truck is in good company!

    Sorry for the length of this post, I'm just excited to be here! I'm looking-forward to being a part of this community and telling stories of some of the trips I'm planning-on taking my new truck on! Barely one month old and it's already been on two short road trips to my local mountains (I live in the city of Orange in So.Cal.), driven in the snow, hauled two motorcycles and been four-wheeling (granted it was just on some fire roads). Thanks for letting me play in your sand box! Here are some pics of my new ride :D
