So, my steering rack is leaking and will need to be replaced on my 2017 TRD OR. Currently looking at prices of a new OEM one and they are $800+. Saw a couple brands on Rock Auto that are aftermarket and half the price. They are currently offering BBB/Vision (New), AAE (new), and BBB/Vision Re-manufactured. I could also get a used OEM one on Ebay, but seeing as the OEM one lasted me only 50k (mostly highway) miles, I have a bit of a sour taste in my mouth from that.

Any thoughts on these or any others?

Edit: Previous thread on this from me: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/steering-rack-leaking-on-my-2017.667087/#post-23399287.

Now just trying to get it all situated.

Didn't you have a thread on this yesterday?
You are an anomaly unless you did something to it you are not telling us. They should last the life of the truck or several hundred thousand miles.

Sure did. Probably should've just commented on the other post. Just looking now for best suggestions on a new steering rack seeing as all cost will be covered by me (which is what I was asking in the other post).

In this case OEM will be best. I say this because this is not an identified problem on these trucks. My opinion is get the best you can afford.

I could get a used OEM, but didn't know if there was anything better out there for cheaper. Was just trying to avoid dropping $850 on a part alone.
