Got my self a coleman mini bike a few weeks back. I wanted to keep it stock, but I couldn't.

So here is what I am building with it.

I needed storage, so I welded some curtain rod holders to the frame and bolted a plastic ammo can to it.

I needed to tow a garden trailer, so I hooked up this. Eventually I am going to weld some thick plates to it and make a pin hitch.

Ive ordered a exhaust for it, and am thinking of getting the torque converter kit for it too. The final goal is to have a fun little bike that I can use to pull, tow, and general ride around with.

New exhaust is on, I can unscrew the muffler if I really want to be loud. It has a nice sound that’s not too loud.

Thanks for the pic. That looks great! Too bad the exhaust comes out where it does, you coulda had matching panniers!

No pictures today, but I milled off some of the mounting ear for the brake drum, it was causing the brake shoes to sit in the drum at a angle causing all sorts of pulsing and locking up of the brakes. So I took some off till the mount slid easy into the frame and now the brakes work as they should.

Im ordering a torque converter, another rear brake drum, wheel, and lever. Going to add front brakes to the bike so when I get my winch ill be able to hold the bike in place better for pulling things.

Added a new machete to the front fork over the weekend. Also added the "cruise control" mod by accident.... the now there is a sticking point in the throttle if you twist all the way (turn it the other way and it closes). It is kinda nice when I am on a longer flat stretch to just click the throttle all the way and it holds speed.

Figured out the cruise control mod... there was a random piece of broken plastic in the twist grip. I took it apart and the plastic fell out, put it back together and it was nice and smooth again.

I also cut the welds off the throttle limit screw, I dont know why they do it, but that throttle screw is pushed all the way in, then they weld the head down. Thing takes off now and has a higher top speed.

After I sell off some stock im going to order the torque converter kit for it. Im also thinking of taking the fenders off and painting them. Not sure what color yet, but probably something to match the ammo can on the side.

Added a hitch to it before winter started. I used it to tow the kids sleds around the neighborhood when ever it snowed. I need to build a carrier for the back of still so I can put my fishing crate on there.
