    Dang!

My supervisor, in our team web meeting last week, asked my coworker and I our thoughts on going back to work. Talked about possible staggering, distancing, wearing masks all day, etc.

Basically my co-worker and I said FUCK THAT to going back and having to wear a mask all day, etc. Annoying as fuck when you have to wear it at a store for a little bit, let alone all day long. We said it politely of course. LOL

We can do our entire job from home. No point in going back until we're allowed to be "normal". Especially if they only allow a certain number of people in the building, and we're taking up spots of someone who really needs to be there to do their job correctly/fully, on really wants to go in for some fucking reason.

She was just getting our thoughts... I'm sure the directive came from her boss.

I want to say about 50 or less people are still going to the building I work at, but they work off paper so remote isn't an option. Personally I'll be surprised if it happens then even..lots of people and not really possible to keep distance unless they stagger everyone's work schedule to do half there/half home at least.

Hello again my CT friends! Quick question for you guys...

I'll make a long story short, I need my right rear wheel bearing replaced and since my wife and I just moved to CT I don't have space or tools (still in Louisiana in storage ) to do the job. To be honest I don't have a lot of trust when it comes to auto mechanics and have always serviced my own cars for the last 20 years since I've been driving. It's nothing personal I'm just very OCD and by the book, I like OEM parts, torque specs, and the satisfaction of fixing my own stuff. All that aside, life happens and I just can't pull this repair off properly.

Can anyone recommend a stand up shop that really takes the time to do that job right? Im in Southeastern CT but will travel. Thanks so much in advance!

Where in SE CT are you? Macara in Norwich is very good. This is probably a dirty word, Charles Toyota service is also very good. They’re in Norwich as well.

    1. I'm in SW CT & got no one for you.
    2. those rear wheel bearings seem to be a big issue, well not over pressing them is. I would strongly encourage you pony up for a shop with a lot of experience with these, that will stand behind the job when you find it leaking. Either a place with a bunch of Toyota trucks in the yard, or the dealer. Such a big issue with the Tundra's. I think the dealer is your safest bet to not over press & to cover re-doing it should they over press. Good luck!

I know thats why I'm scratching my head over here trying to figure out what to do. Going to the dealer is out of the question. I'll keep searching around and if I find something I'll let you know!

Got the brackets for the bumper prepped, primed and a first coat on them today.

Also started prepping the bumper by scouring it with some steel wool. Will need to a little more work and then clean/degrease it before priming and coating but its a good start.
