    Hey all
Recently purchased a 2020 tacoma limited and love it. At first I wanted to put on big ko2 285 75r16 but was told I needed a 3" lift for the truck. I have looked everywhere but cant find a simple answer. What is the biggest tire I can fit on a stock tacoma limited without a lift. I am hoping to put 275 75r16 or 265 75 r16.

Depends on your wheel offset and backspacing also. I put 265/70/17s on (one size up from my stock tires) and I rubbed. I lifted it 1"~ and still rubbed a little where my flaps go. 17x9 wheels, -12 offset, 4.53 backspacing. Meanwhile my friend with 265/70/17 tires on TRD PRO wheels does rub at all.

People have better luck with skinny pizza cutter tires (255/70/17) with no rub (they are taller not fatter like a 285/70/17)

I now have 285/70/17 tires on about 2.2-2.5" of lift and rub a tiny tiny bit in reverse, but I also trimmed a little bit of plastic and did CMC to be safe.

Bottom line is..you hope you don't have to cut.... but plan on cutting to fit larger tires.
