My tacoma stalls when put in reverse, turning on the blinkers, or anything electrical for that matter.
It’s got brand new spark plug wires and a brand new alternator and battery anybody know what’s going on?
Update: Took the truck to team to figure it out, they simply said it was a combination of my fuel filter, massaf sensor, and my massaf boot going into my intake manifold as well as my idle control valve.
All these diagnosees could be doing this to my engine. However it only started doing it when I messed with the battery as I was doing an engine detail( turned out great btw). As well as there is a constant clicking when the blinker is on in the dash(it’s the relay) leading me to believe it’s something electrical. If you have any idea what’s going on let me know everything I can get helps. This is my daily driver after all.

For some reason your dropping the system Voltage below the ECM limits and it shuts off to save it`s self.

Time to break out the meter and get some real world numbers

might be as simple as a poor connection.

Even new out of the box can fail.

Well it’s not that simple I actually here recently took it too team and they said it was my mass air flow sensor and/or my fuel filter (both recently ordered) I just can’t find it in my mind to believe him I mean every time I turn on the blinkers if the truck doesn’t die then you can hear the relay going off in the dash which isn’t normal

I had an old Dodge to the same to me. Was an issue with the computer and the AC clutch. Had to replace the computer.
