    I use to watch every race until Dale died and Rusty retired. I went to California Speedway a few times.

    What I miss more was the local Saugus Speedway. It was an every other weekend thing for years. Then they up and closed it without even telling the drivers.

    Are you into Dirt track racing ??? , I used to be the Head official for CDCRA "Calif Dwarf Car racing assoc" . Basically a 3/4 scale dirt track car running a 1000cc motorcycle engine . These cars were as fast as a sprint cars

    Nice video. Dirt tracks are cool. I used to like it when they ran the sprint cars at Saugus Speedway. Oh it's in Nipomo! Gotta get some Jocko's. That is where I first discovered a Santa Maria Pit BBQ.

    4 day weekend. It's our biggest holiday weekend for camping and day use but we're not working it this year. Camp spots are already 1/2 full as of yesterday afternoon. It's going to be a real shit show this year. I'm sure by Tuesday it'll be a wreck.
