You think they’ll pump fake crowd noise in if games are played like that? Be weird without, but I imagine hearing the on field shit talk would be awesome.

Florida already does it, according to auburn fans who think the WiFi boosters are speakers....but I’m against fake noise what’s the point really? I’m all for hot mics on the field and see what really goes down especially in rivalry games.

Had my money on FIU but makes sense with the coaching connection. I guess tua is going to paying a lot in airfare from Maryland to Miami for the family.

I’m interested how this is going to play out with the NCAA being less than thrilled (fuck em) about the idea of campuses remaining online only for the fall semester, which seems fairly likely given the fact that they’re already scheduling to be done by Thanksgiving. From my talks to admin here (and elsewhere), we’re a sneeze / cough away from it and finding out how much pull the NCAA actually has in shutting down BIG money.

Not precisely a juggernaut of football lately. If USC lets Helton coach, he’ll be okay. He’s got some great stuff going on from what have read (granted I don’t follow west coast football much), and Swan is out.

Plus UCLA is dog shit, so he would be a god there if he were good.

 

From what I read, and it wasn't much, he was the starter last year, hurt first game, and lost his job to his competition (we've seen that here with Eason/Fromm). He just didn't want to compete and saw an opportunity to use his experience to walk in and play (likely) next year with our grad transfer leaving and competition being only Beck and the true freshman Vandagriff, although they are both pretty highly rated.

He also doesn't really look like a southern Cal qb, little too ugly. Thats more like south GA facial hair

Brock’s dad said they welcome the competition. Hopefully they keep that enthusiasm next year. I don’t want to lose out on that kid. I really assumed it would be a fight between Brock and Beck next season.
