    Hey Folks,

Came across this online and then looks like osterhagen posted it in First Gen. Thought I would repost in 2nd Gen as well. Great weekend in NE to work on trucks, stay safe.

Mine were 61196, had a werid feeling each time I used them, wondering if they were solid. They are going back!

Nearly 1.7 million jack stands sold by Harbor Freight have been recalled due to risk of collapse. If you have any 6-ton or 3-ton models with the model numbers: 61196, 61197, or 56371 do not use them!

    From osterhagen post.

Need to put this in the Harbor Freight thread, if it hasn't been already.

HF is my go-to for last minute, one or 2 time use low torque cheap tools that I loan out to friends/neighbors when I don't expect to get back in a timely manner or ever. Isn't this a risk we all take when buying tools from HF?
