Thanks to all for the kind remarks, I can't quote everyone because the post would be a mile long, but thanks you all so much.

 

All dogs go to heaven. That dog sounds like he had a great life.

 

The big hole is just upstream.
Pretty much lasts all summer.
Theres a small bluff you can jump off.
Probably 9-10ft deep.
And yes I do

 

Unless you have a "broken" lab that hates water aka Zoie she also won't retrieve

 

Wait till the end of the season and grab a couple on the sale table The sun sure does eat them up

 

Maybe she’s a “laboratory sitter” instead Labrador retriever.
Our Schnauzers are definitely air conditioner dogs.

 

She definitely is a temp controlled area dog. She likes her comfort for sure. Gonna miss Annie when she passes - she's been my yard buddy for the past 14+ years. She used to hate coming in. Definitely opposites.

 

Yeah definately always double em up, they last a lot longer.

One year I bought 5
Gave two away and triple stacked the other 3 in the back yard

My dog max loved to chase minnows.
Cody does too but max was the master.
He used to go thru a dozen minnows 15mins np

 

Mine is just an absolute nut when it comes to the water.

 

That is so cool you let your dogs swim in your pools

 

The lady that owned the home used to host a "pool party" once every month or so for a meetup group for labs. It was a saltwater pool which made it pretty easy on the dogs. She's since moved which is too bad. I'd have to leash Riley to get him out of the pool.

That pool was filthy at the end of the afternoon.
