Forgive me for being a mechanical newb here, but
How can I tell if I need to upgrade/replace bump stops?

Have you actually looked at them? Perhaps take a picture of them and post.

If they are missing or broken you probably want to replace them.

And I just noticed you have a 2020, so not sure how you could have harmed your bumpstops this quickly? Why do you think there might be something up with them?

Oh I KNOW mine are fine, I was just posting, because if I mod my truck or overland it... because I am mechanically challenged, I'm not sure that I would know when/if I need to upgrade/replace them.

    Gotcha. That makes more sense!

I was actually just talking to a buddy of mine about replacing my OEM bumps. Couple weeks ago, fully loaded for camping, I bottomed out going through a water bar and definitely felt it. The OEM bumps are really stiff, so I thought if I continue contacting them in the future I might upgrade to Wheeler's Superbumps (cheap/simple upgrade). I already have a set in the front that I got with some Icon coilovers. I'm not doing any crazy stuff, and don't have the budget for the fancy hydraulic bumps, but those would be an awesome upgrade if you had the $$$ in the budget for em.
