We switched to summer gas as far as I can tell so I'd thought I'd see how what kind of mileage I could get. I refilled at roughly 1/4 tank and it took 15 gallons and I traveled 317 miles for 21.13 mpgs. This was painful to do and I wont be trying it every tank. I did not go faster than 65 mph on the freeway and of course went easy on acceleration. This was a mixture of freeway, city, and rural.

My truck is lifted 2.5" via Eibachs in the front and OME medium dakars in back. I have 255/75-17 Duratrac tires riding on FN countersteer x wheels with -10 offset.

Anyways, the point of this thread is that decent mileage can still be achieved despite a lift and more aggressive tires, if you exercise patience and drive conservatively. This MPG number also does not account for speedometer error, so actual MPGs would be slightly higher.

And if you live in Kansas. Lol...referring to what must be flat land driving. Here in Colorado, my Tacoma has not seen much over 18 and a decimal. Just too many grades to pull.
