I just bought the ICON leafs to add to my install of the ICON front coil overs and rear shocks. Getting it installed Thursday! Can’t wait!

Does anyone have 3rd Gen pictures of their installed progressive 3 leaf pack showing how their front overload alignment clamps line up with the leaf pack?

I am about to install the Wheelers 3 leaf pack and I want to keep overload in.

Hi there, wondering if you could take a pic of most of the spring to show its new arch? I just installed and only got about an inch of lift. Looking like I'll have to go back in and put the overload just to stop a Bro lean

This is the best I can get. I wound up with just under 2” of lift 741F6C69-B601-43C2-8622-54A3ADFA54A7.jpg58CEA9E5-3298-4D04-B848-7914FD8B3A02.jpg 991E5F35-300D-4DF7-97A4-4237C2BE909A.jpg

Thank you so much ! I really appreciate the images. They were exactly what I was hoping for. I am going to put in the overload and a toytec shim . All together I should then be closer to 2 inches and get away from a bro lean that has developed :annoyed:

So for a DCLB it seems people are netting a 1.5-2 inch lift in the rear with overload removed?

I install these packs all the time, i suggest leaving the overload pack in the truck if you are running any extra weight at all, the Icon AAL rides awesome but needs that overload not only for height but weight as well!

I spoke with someone at IVD and they said the AAL is meant to replace the overload and to remove it as it voids the warranty if it is left in. Why is that?

i cant imagine it would make a difference if the overload is in there or not for the warranty, i feel like removing the overload would be a faster way to void the warranty than leaving it in. none of my customers have had any issues with it both with and without the overload spring.

I went ahead and had the shop remove the overload so the ride isn't so stiff. I will have a bed rack and RTT as well but I figure the truck is still new and I plan on replacing it with a full spring replacement.

I’ve got a 21 off road w cap and rtt so about 300lbs and am about level before gear. I will likely keep the rtt on full time simply because it’s a pita to store

Have icon 1.5 AAL on order to get the rake back and help when all geared up. I know that keeping overload gives a bit more lift which is good. Curious... does keeping the overload have a materially different ride when not “overloaded”?
