    No one will re-clear. You’ll need new paint, so decide if you want hood and roof done, or whole truck when looking for quotes. Found that all out the hard way when I lived out there.

    Sold truck because paint jobs were 2k plus. You might get a decent deal with cash, but good luck with any sort of warranty if you go that route..

    No worries, I’m in for the long haul with this truck. I’ve kept up maintenance so it should make it to 300k+ no problem. Also, I have a handyman business so the look of my vehicle is important. Paint job is worth it to me.

    I’m in the same boat looking for a decent priced shop. Auto Painting AZ seems decent and has different levels depending on budget. I found a few “garage” paint shops that said hey could do it for less than 1k but it would take then 10 days, seems like a really long time.

    Curious if anyone else has any other suggestions.

    Auto Painting Plus in Mesa did mine. http://www.autopaintingplus.com/locations.html. The guys name is Tim Simmons. Price quoted was $1500 not including any jamming, trim removal, Inside bed, or body work. His website states he does a base coat plus 2 coats of clearcoat with a warranty of 5 years. Mine was $1650 because I wanted him to “jam” the tailgate area. I removed everything I could reasonably remove to give it a better non-taped finish. He cut back the windshield rubber by my request to get as much under molding as possible. It doesn’t affect the windshield seal and will be replaced when I ever need a new windshield. After a month, Cascio Motors in Scottsdale did an incredible “cut and polish/buff” job for $500. I think they threw me a great price as my neighbor used to work there. Turned my $2K paint job into $5K paint job. I tipped the detailer a generous amount. Look at my Albums on this website and see the truck.

    My paint was really bad and got vandalized.
    So I paid $150 Insurance deductible
    It’s definitely factory quality everything was painted I think the total was close to 7k said and done.

    Also on a side note great people to work with it’s a father and son family ran business they work with insurance and can get anything done you need

    @SlipperyTaco

    Do you happen to have a first or last name? I think I might know them... If it's who I think it is I've had them paint at least 8 cars and they have always done great work. I'm guessing they are in a new shop operating under a different name.
