I know blown head gaskets on 2005-2006's do happen, but after some searching I'm not getting the impression the odds are that high. (Trans poll is in there because ignition timing is often different)

    Bonus Points for Manufacture Date

109,000 on my 05 but starting to sweat it a little. No other issues at all. Saved a bundle by NOT buying the 100K maintenance insurance. Had to replace the alternator on wifey's Solara yesterday for $115 at 104,000 miles. Saved by not buying the insurance on that one too.

2005 Blown Head Gasket around 125000 miles with the 4.0. MFG Date 02/05. Since the Head Gasket repair I am up to 176839 miles. Just want to through this out there, The truck never got Hot or Showed Hot on the Gauge or Over Heated. It showed other signs of the Blown Head Gasket.

@bc9235 Mine had White Crusty material around the cap of the overflow bottle. When I would shut the truck off after a long or short drive the coolant in the overflow bottle would be bubbling like water boiling. The true sign is. Take your radiator cap off, start the truck and watch for bubbles. That is the exhaust gasses coming up and out of your radiator.

    All good.

At this point, whatever happens is cool. I’ll buy a new truck. This is my longest owned vehicle at 14 years. Nothing’s made it past 10 up until now. Gravy-Time.
