please help 2007 tacoma stuck in 4wd

so my 2007 tacoma has been sticking in 4wd for a second or 2 when I shut it off but now it has been stuck all day? It goes into 4 low and back to 4 hi but won't come out of 4wd back to 2? Any ideas hlw I can get it out. Tried every combo of reverse and figure 8's and neutral and drive and everything else....

 

also tried un plugging the battery. The 4wd indicator just blinks on the dash. Also I can hear a faint clicking coming from the glove box when I try going to 2?

 

If you really need it out.
You should be able to physically shift it back to 2WD.
It will require pulling the Transfer Case Actuator.

Thanks for the help! Just came down over a bank sideways at almost full flex and it popped back to 2wd!
