    I drive a 2013 TRD Off Road.
Went to upgrade the headlights today from Halogen to Cougar LEDs (with heat sink and fan). After getting the LED bulbs seated and the rubber boot sealed, I noticed that the hole isn’t large enough to get the heat sink and fan through the hole to allow for proper ventilation. I thought about taking a razor knife and opening the hole up a bit, but I’m afraid that it would cause condensation in the headlight. I was just wondering if anyone here has had the same issue or knows of an easy solution. Thanks in advance!

Figured it out. Take the metal flange off, put the light through the boot, put the metal flange back on, and cuss every living creature on the face of the Earth while you fight the urge to burn everything in sight while you work on the passenger side trying to squeeze the boot between the headlight and windshield washer reservoir while fighting the spring and banning it to hell. Easy peasy

I’m a responsible driver. I aimed them at a block wall on level ground and aimed them towards the road (on low and high) to keep from blinding people. I don’t like it, and I extend that same mentality towards other drivers. I may be an ass sometimes, but never a dick

You do realize it isn't possible to solve the problem with 'aiming'? That is a very amateur statement. You cannot out aim glare, which by definition is light escaping above the aim cut off. If you don't have control of the cut offs (because you fell for putting LEDs in a halogen assembly) you can't use the cut offs to correct the issue because your cut offs are now effectively broken. And "Cougar" are well known to be some truly awful garbage LEDs. Aiming your lights down to try and fix your self induced broken headlight problem has only reduced your distance projection and now cause you to likely overdrive your headlights. Effectively what you have done is cause your lights to be hazardous to all others on the road while making it more dangerous to yourself and your passengers and is a significant downgrade in every regard. I'd highly suggest you read the threads linked in earlier posts to see how to do it right with far better performance.
