Picked up the IFS rear, tossed the 3rd in it, loaded it under the truck.

Since the truck is stupid tall, I had to use my stands on the leafs. Safety third.

Fixed the shorted out taillight wiring and shortened both harnesses to match the shorter truck.

While working on the wiring, UPS made a surprise delivery with my new front springs.

I swapped the springs, which lowered the truck about a half inch. Once I move the front spring hangar, I should drop a total of two inches.

are you really running wheel spacers?
BTW I am not saying I would/ wouldn't just doesn't seem like the right tool for the job, I have minimal experience with spacers and ONLY know that they don't work on tacos w/ manual hubs!

Only on pickups, I had them briefly and they contacted the studs and nuts that hold the hub body on

New springs are in and have settled a bit more. Still need to drill the spring perch on the axle 1” to get some approach angle back.

waiting on funds to finish up shocks and front diff.

mended up building a rear bumper for it though. Just straight plate, will need to add reinforcements later and a few pull points. This truck won’t be towing anything, so I didn’t put in a receiver.

I thought I had a fully finished photo of the bumper, I guess not. Anyway, the edges were capped at 45* and I cut the ends to flow with the fender. Simple bumper that took about two hours

Did a few things since bringing the truck up to my work.
Re-drilled spring perches 1.25” back so I could push the front axle forward after the spring swap.

Pulled the inner axles and installed the open carrier with 5.29’s and put my front driveshaft back in.

Dropped it in 4Lo and did a quick flex test. Front shocks are coming today, supposedly. Once they come, I’ll weld in the shock hangers.

Cool truck. You couldn't afford the IPA's and patches but you were able to afford the 'Merica decal to put on your Jap truck at least..
