    you'd sooner see a supercharger than a turbo given toyota tacoma history.

    why not just regear? its the common way to handle larger tires.

    A turbo with this engine is not smart. The exhaust gases are cooled by the internal manifold. Cool gasses = less energy = not as efficient.

    Functional, reliable forced induction would be quite the challange with the 3.5L. Even the 2.7L is a better choice for a performance build. If it was my money I'd leave the engine completely stock and re-gear.
