Indeed. The black colored vehicle is the ideal car wash customer.

Added a RTT a few weeks back and it blocks the third brake light. Found some bolt lights on Amazon and mounted them to the back of the Bedrack and tapped into the tail lights.

Also added a waterproof quick connect plug, so if I decide to remove the tent and rack.

I think it came out pretty good, I’m happy with them.

Since I never use the rear seats, and always have the platform installed. I decided to remove the bottom of the rear seats to get some more leg room up front. Happy with the extra space, much more comfortable. Quick and Easy mod to do in between the rain today.

I tried out the new Greenworks 1500 psi electric power washer and the MATCC Foam Cannon today - works great. And, I seem to have picked up this guy somewhere.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I bought the hard wire kit from Rexing so I can go direct to the fuse box. Let's me use the bump mode when parked.

Nice. Adding brake/tail lights along with a rear view camera on my bed bars is on my “to do” list. Mid height bars so my view and the third brake light is blocked.

Was a busy weekend for the truck as I finally got some mods done I've been wanting to do...
--Removed the rear headrests finally (already had the seats removed)
--Built a simple platform for the rear cab
--Put in spacers to raise my RTT 2 inches to clear the 1UP bike rack when it is open (lays right on the rack nicely, actually).
--Also installed my anytimebackup cam and switch (but that was a week ago ;))

I’ve considered doing something similar. Would you provide the brand name, or a link. Thanka

Not a good picture I know but got the TRD skid plate installed. Thanks to Rock Auto for delivering today, now later in the week I can finally get rid of the nasty chrome bumper caps.IMG_7520.jpgIMG_7525.jpgIMG_7526.jpg

Skid plate looks good! How was the install? I think this is next on my to-do list!

Piece of cake, Took about 20 minutes, 6 bolts, remove both front and rear OEM Tim plates and lift the TRD into place. Once you have the first bolt caught you can use 1 hand to position it into place and get the other 5.

Here are the lights I got. Looks like they are out of the red at the moment, but it gives you an idea.

Aside from being just a little too drunk and having to reorder and soon reapply the passenger side black tacoma badge... oops, I got the doors, tailgate and bumper caps installed. It is bitterswet, aside from wanting to do a little chrome removal in cab, mainly the vents, a tailgate lock, and a tonneau cover ( also eventually want a shell for winter) this thing is going to remain pretty much stock for a some time. That said there is a good reason, my wife got herself a '19 4runner, and that is where the rest of the money will go for a bit. Right now she is raptor lining her RSG rock sliders to be installed in a few days. To add to that we have a 1st gen 4runner that she was going to sell to help offset the cost, well, I am taking over that project. I didn't want to see it go and apparently neither did she. So after a few months of blasting money on the '19 , off to Yotatech I go to blast money at an '86.
