Suspension upgrade for ride quality & towing

    I have a 2016 V6 Dual Cab Limited with 80K miles. Looking for a nice ride on the freeway yet able to handle around 3,800 fully loaded dual axle trailer (has its own brakes) from time to time.

    The Taco is stock except for Sumosprings and brake controller. And OVTuned of course!

    I don't need lift, and the Taco has some body roll that I hope gets eliminated with the new shocks.

    Bilstein 5100's all around have been recommended.

    Should I replace/upgrade the coilovers as well?

    Any other info/advice is appreciated.

    Perhaps go with a 3 leaf AAL?

    I recently installed gen 3 front struts, with a Headstrong Off-road 3 leaf AAL and Firestone airbags (with Daystar cradles) in the back. I always have a fiberglass shell, and just got back from a weekend trip loaded with sleeping platform, fishing gear, firewood and all the camping kit. 12 lbs air, and the ride was outstanding.

    And FWIW, the Headstrong AAL is plug and play- no brackets to cut, etc., and great instructions.
