Surely haven’t forgotten about this thread and finally after talking about it begun to go through mine.I’ll post up all the rest that i had as a kid but figured i’d start out with these two potential gems.

Orange Toyota pickup is 1/56”Majorette” brand and made in France.Have no idea of yr produced.

Yellow Toyota pickup has 1981 yr on the underside.”Matchbox” brand and made in Macau.

These are flawless and quite curious to what the potential value could be?Possibly be able to find information on the interweb.

Found Zeppelin #3 & #4.
Also dugout a Racing Champions Ratfink Chevy that comes with an opening hood, and a custom die-cut Collector card of an original Ed Roth Poster. It is at least 20 yrs old. Blister pack is still intact.

Ratfink has been around since I was little! I remember trying to emulate Ratfink and that Chevy with the flames shooting out with pencil and paper. Did pretty good too. Thanks for that memory

Questions for you.
What is the best way to separate the bodies on Hot Wheels? I tried drilling out the points where they are pressed together and it was slow going.
Question 2 is where do you find Real Rider wheels like I see with William 63s cars that he posts?
I just picked up 6 Hot Wheels 55 Chevy Gassers to play around with. They are all white with copper chrome. That will change.

 

You can buy the kits that come with the drill, tap, and button head screws to put back together. I’ve never done it but my friend that I get my cars from does. The wheels he usually buys other cars with wheels that he likes and uses them. There are a few people on eBay that also sell sets of wheels but they sometimes want a lot of money for them.

 

I don’t have any ratfink cars but missed out on a couple of custom ratfink vw bugs years ago. I did get Ed Roth’s signature on a few posters when I met him at the world of wheels back in the early 90s.
