I am wondering what to do with my Blue Ox BXW1200 after I disconnect the trailer at camp. I could pull it off the hitch and stow it in the truck, but I'm wondering about using cables to lock it to the hitch so that I do not have to remove it. Anyone else done that, or anything similar?

That WDH looks similar to my E2 Fastaway. I just leave the hitch on the truck and pull the bars out and use them as weights for our camping rug. I don't really worry about the stuff getting stolen or messed with in the more populated campgrounds. Tend to be eyes on everything for the most part and people figure out who is supposed to be where pretty quickly.
