    Got the 18" base that the Kamado rests on out of the form and polished. Used a set of 5" pads from Stadea that went from 50 to 800 grit. Only took an hour or so to do, looking forward to getting the countertop done.

    Yeah, I'm going to use the same stain that I used on the shop floor and patio and then use a food grade sealer on it. I'm putting the base together now, I'll get some pics of that in a bit.

    Made an 1.5" deep form out of 3/4 Melamine for a counter/bench for our Kamado Joe. The top is 32x75 and this is the 18 base that the Kamado will rest on.
