Anyone have experience w all pro? I'm looking for some sort of entry level kit that isn't too pricey, are you paying for what you get here?

I have their older kit before they started plating the tubing. It’s a great kit but I think you’d get more for your buck out of the TC or Dirt King kits for not that much more money

I have their old design as well. I do not know why there is so much hate to all pro. Its a good kit while ive had it. I havent jumped it, but it does take some good beatings, and its still good.

Mechanical engineer here, AP products are imitation plain and simple. If you're after any degree of function do not go with them. If you just want the look it's a fine option for the price.

any more information on this? Seemingly to me it is all pieces of metal. Why not go with the cheapest thing that gets the job done?

i personally use spacers...at some point i am going to upgrade to an actual beefier wider axle, but they cost some money.

yeah I'm just keeping my eye out for a cheaper route I'm trying to find a lighter axle but at a good price I like to do everything myself so I don't mind doing some fabrication and some welding and some cutting I can pretty much do it all myself I just need to find the axle.
but someone just told me a place where I can get some 70 in rear ends so I think I'm going to check it out and look into it

oh I forgot to say I have 3 in wheel spacers but I guess I'll just use those to get started and then upgrade to the wider axle as I get further into it.

also as anybody ever heard of long travel or mid travel front arm suspension without raising the front end.

I would actually like to lower the front end a little bit with a long-arm suspension does anybody have any ideas

I could have kept stock height with long travel if i wanted too. I have about 2 inchs of lowering On the coil overs and I could drop the front end lower. My long travel kit right now is just a slight up when looking at the lower control arm angle.

I havent installed mine yet, but fixed up an old all pro kit. Its going on this weekend. During the process i learned a lot about this kit. Like others have said, if you are buying it new you're likely better off buying a higher end brand. Ive heard complaints from uca rubbing the shock tower, alignment issues, and in my case, a control arm bent indicating a weak point. The good news is its inexpensive and all the rebuild parts can be sourced outside of all pro for cheap rebuild. I'll try to update once installed. Heres my kit now.

Edit: i didnt realize this thread was so old. I plan on wheel spacers in the rear and cutting the fenders, bedsides and flares up two inches.
