Boosted 3rd gens are right around the corner. Ovtune twin turbos, magnuson s/c, harrop s/c and URD rotrex options are imminent. With that being said, there is currently no option for boost gauge mounts that won't totally destroy the aesthetics of the 3rd gen interior if you want to run a round gauge. That being said, I am currently working on a vent mount that will work with either the driver's far left vent or the driver's right vent. The mount with be completely plug and play with either vent. Remove the old vent and snap the mount into the existing locking tabs. The mount will still allow for airflow out of the vent. It will house a 52mm (2 1/16th inch) round gauge. I am currently finishing the design. Should have a final product within the next couple weeks.

Here it is in the left vent. Final draft is printing right now. Then next week I will have the last version in black abs.

Just finished the final draft. Fits in both spots very nicely. 20200528_065727.jpg

Nice work OP! Way to forge ahead and create a truly useful and clean product. I just happen to have a Brand New Dual Lambda (AFR) OLED 2 1/16 Gauge that will fit perfectly and absolutely critical for FI applications. Not to hijack, but it would look nice in that setup.

The final product should be done next week. I am just waiting on a little better printer and some black abs filament.

That looks pretty cool. I’m looking forward to the Magnuson S/C.

I think any kind of boost will make this truck amazing.

How much air does the gauge restrict. Out where i live temps get up over 110* and always need to point the vent directly at me.

I have been driving around all day with a/c on. It restricts it enough to notice, but also increases flow out of the other vents. So it's give and take.

Here is the gauge I have decided on for my final build. I bought two. First was a maxtow. Cheap gauge made in Taiwan. After I recieved this one I learned it is programmable for overboost warning and has altitude compensation adjustments that can be programmed. That's cool since I'm in Colorado.

Just an update. Printer was supposed to be here yesterday after sitting in a UPS facility right across town since Saturday. Got an updated delivery yesterday that said it was supposed to be delivered today. Got yet another update this morning that said it would be delivered tomorrow due to circumstances beyond their control. Sounds like it was lost. I went ahead and called them and got a call back. Package is nowhere to be found. Unfortunately my current printer doesn't have a bed that will heat enough to keep abs from warping (already tried). Waiting to hear from UPS for a resolution.

ABS print is finally done. Final version is super close. I just have a couple minor details to iron out and some minor heat testing and it should be ready for sale. Here it is in both locations in black. At night it looks like the gauge is floating in the vent.
