Can you take a pic of the shocks you took off? Maybe they were 3" lift springs plus your 6" spacer?

I don’t have a picture but they were stock shocks and springs with a 6in spacer

No, because the bumper is on the very front of the truck and is applying more leverage than weight in the front seat.

put the truck in the air and the old shock and spacer next to the new shock and compare lengths. Or measure with a tape.

It's very likely that Fabtech and Rough Country skin the cat differently and those shocks aren't compatible with your setup. Have you reached out to Fabtech to see when shocks work with their kit?

Fabtech 6" with Alcan 6" rear springs 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers
The bumper weight will not lower the truck 3". Try this....balance your weight on the bumper and I doubt it will lower the truck much at all....mabe 1/2"?
Take measurements of each shock at full extended length and see how they compare.
If they are the same length then it has to be a lighter spring rate causing the loss of lift.
You may have to play with a 2"ish top spacer. Note that the top spacer size is not a direct lift size. Meaning you will more than 2" out of a 2"' spacer.
    Best of luck

This. Slight variations in the DB sizes and designs can cause issues when using shocks/coil overs from another manufacturer. I have the Fabtech 6" DB kit too, and I've got the full 6" length Fox resi coilovers that BDS offers. I had to do some adjusting and fidgeting to get my ride height right, and I've still got a little more preload on them than I'd like to. The Fabtech brackets have some sort of slight design variation from the BDS brackets.

From what I understand some of the DB kit manufacturers use a 6" bracket to achieve the lift, and some use a 4" bracket and 2" longer springs on the strut/coil over to achieve the 6" lift. Not sure if I'm wording it right...

Buy the 6" Dirt Logic coil overs. Those are the only ones that are guaranteed to fit the Fabtech kit

Can you post a pic of your whole truck? I’m curious to see what it looks like with that much rake.

Spring rate math. 500lb springs means 500 lbs/in which means 1 inch per 500 lbs force, so 150# on a 500lb/in spring gets you 0.3 inches of compression. It is not the springs causing your issue.

With the truck on the ground take a center of hub to fender measurement straight up. Your truck stock would be around 20-20.5". So with a 6" drop bracket you should be in the 26-27" hub to fender. With this measurement we can figure out if those coilovers by RC are too Short. Or you may have had more than 6" of lift to begin with. Your CVs with the Fabtech should be basically flat with the Fabtech kit which they appear to be. Throw us some measurements.

    THIS.

Not all companies build suspension the same. It looks like a simple leveling spacer on top of that RC strut will fix your issues (if you are set on keeping them, but it is not recommended). I work at Fabtech, we built the 6" kit to have a center hub to fender measurement around 27"-27.5".

IMO - those shocks looks like they're doing exactly what is intended. They are 6" longer to compensate for the DB lift, but are not providing any other lift. Looks like the CVs are LCAs are exactly where they would be from the factory. Where you show it jacked up is closer to, if not, full droop. If there's where you wanted it, you would need a 2-3" suspension lift on top of the DB lift, and that's where you loose me with DB knowledge. You could toss a spacer on top :puke: or, I think King and Fox make adjustable coilovers to match the DB lifts.

I would do this. Call them and ask them to give you the length of the shock and then compare it to the length of the RC shock you have. That will tell you if you are using the proper length shock. Maybe RC 6in lift shock is really a 3inch lift shock used with a 3 inch spacer and they don't really have a full 6in shock. It's just listed as their 6inch shock b/c it would be what comes in their 6 inch kit.

Did you measure your stock coilover with spacer length and compare it to the length of the new coilover?

The spring for one could be 2 or 3” longer and compressed to the same length giving the strut a lot more preload
