    Hey, gang...

Can anyone recommend good, sturdy seat covers that are easy to clean? I have quite a few dogs in my truck with many different types of coats. Mine is a boxer, and her hairs are short and ingrain themselves in everything. Hard to vacuum out, because of this.

Here she is riding shotgun. Her name is Java. I usually have her in the back.

    Thanks!
    Bob

I have a Husky and his hairs get into the seat so I have to literally pull them out after. I bought this cover for the back and it works great, keeps all the hairs on top and nothing gets underneath. It even unzips one side if you need to put someone back there with the dog.

I bought the one that Costco currently carries (I can't remember the brand). It's for my skunk which, I suppose, has a different hair type. The seat cover is meant for the rear seat and the cover can be configured differently. At "full tilt", it becomes a large rectangular 5-panel "basket" that spans door-to-door. The material seems to be textured naugahyde, I could be wrong on this.

We just got the Costco one. It fits perfect in the back of the 4Runner.

    back to bone stock.

i am about 3 months in on a set of Wet Okole seat covers. i love them for a myriad of reasons. dog hair is not one of the categories. my dog has shortish white hairs and they bury into the WO seat covers. a vacuum does not pull them out well. not even my shopvac. a sticky roller is the key.

fit is perfect. the new smell lingers, but i went nose-blind to the issue. easy-ish to install except one thing.

Anyone else have recommendations? I have tried several options and haven't found a good one for my 50 lb pit/pointer mix with apparently talons on her feet.

So far I have had a set of Wet Okoles that lasted about 4 years but never really worked great and got shredded by her moving around.

Next was an older version of the Orvis Dog Hammock that was made out of different material that either if the two current options and that started to separate at the seams. Great warranty but $$$ and there isn't a location nearby that would make it contentment to use that warranty.

I have replaced that with 2 different versions from URPOWER, the first lasted from Jan - Nov 2018 but that included quite a bit of road trips with the dog. The second is well past being due for replacement. They are cheap but I'd rather pay more for something that will hold up better and not end up in a landfill after 9 months.

I've been looking at the Duluth Trading Company Deluxe Seat Saver but would like some real life reviews.

I have a golden retriever as an emotional support animal. So, I've tried a lot of cover seats, and the best I've found is this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083C3G79W?th=1. It's just a perfect choice for my buddy. Btw, I've never had any pets until my brother registered one on esaregistration.org for me. So, I wonder to hear some of your stories of how you got your first pet. I'm all ears.

My Wet Okole cover has held up pretty well since I got it back in September 2018; Probably gonna replace it soon because my Labrador has been pretty hard on it...

My cousin bought a brand new 2021 Highlander Hybrid last year; Toyota just replaced the gas tank for free because it was discovered that they lied about the size of the gas tank and the range of the hybrid was less than advertised. Apparently, it did not officially become a recall, but pissed off owners were getting a lawsuit together and Toyota is now replacing gas tanks.
