Has anyone found some 16x8" black steelies that fit this gen?

I want a spare set with M/T's for wheeling and then use my stock wheels and tires for the daily grind.

Sensors? Is there a way around not using sensors or having 2 sets of wheels with them that are both linked?

You can have 2 sets of sensors, but I think you need techstream to switch between the 2. Otherwise you can make a sensor bomb and put your sensors in there and stick in the bed. a sensor bomb is a pipe that you put all the sensors in, then you pressurize it to 35psi.

But something to keep in mind, when your offroading, your going to be airing down your tires, so your tire light will be turning on anyways.

Good point on the sensors when airing down. I like the idea of the sensor bomb.

I bet you could find a few OEM spare wheels with tires, sell off the tires and you'll have a free set of wheels.

Yeah, I'd kinda like some old school ones like I had on my 1st gen back in the day.

I agree with above who said forget about the sensors in your off-road wheels. You'll be aired down and the light will always be on anyway. Just leave them in your DD tires and call it a day.

That said, what kind of wheeling are you going to be doing? I've thought about this and decided it wasn't worth the effort of swapping 4 wheels every time I want to go out. It really increases prep time which puts a damper on spur-of-the-moment trips which are usually the best trips. A nice set of all-terrains make few compromises on and off road and you'll always be ready to go.

I want mud terrains cause they look cool, and I love the sound of them humming down the road. Wheeling will be mostly rocky east coast stuff. Probably only use the stock ones in the winter.
