I decided to make a list that will show the brands that Toyota uses so you can save some money while still purchasing oem quality. Some parts may not be the brand that Toyota uses but in my opinion is very good quality and comparable to factory.

    Green OEM
    Blue Non OEM

Door Lock Actuator: AISIN (However they do not usually go bad the shaft on the motor needs to be cleaned where the brushes make contact)

Drive belt: CONTINENTAL. (BANDO is oem however consumer quality is not very good)

    Belt Tensioner: INA

Idler Pulley: NONE. All after market brands typically use subpar bearings. Better off with factory, after market /w great warranty or replacing the actual bearing with nsk, koyo, or timken.

Brake Pad: BECK/ARNLEY daily driver section on rockauto. (Advics is oem however Beck/Arnley will ship you either Sumitomo, Advics or Sangsin, all good quality and cheaper then buying advics on rockauto)

Brake Shoes: BECK/ARNLEY. (nbk but have not been able to locate a suppler for consumer purchase)

Rotors: WAGNER, DURAGO. (Advics is oem but price is usually close to double)

    Drums: BECK/ARNLEY, WAGNER

    Wheel bearing: NSK

    Wheel Cylinder: ADVICS

    Radiator: DENSO

    Thermostat: AISIN

    Water pump: AISIN

    4wd Actuator: AISIN

    CV Axle: CARDONE

    Universal Joint: DANA

Center support bearing: DANA. ( Rock Auto does not sell the 4wd version but drivetrainamerica does)

    Alternator: DENSO

    Starter: DENSO

    Neutral Safety Switch: ROSTRA

    A/f or oxygen sensors: DENSO

    Air / cabin filters: DENSO

    Fuel pump: DELPHI

A/C Compressor: Denso. ( DELPHI is oem however the consumer clutch connector subpar and I have seen issues with it. Denso uses the oem style)

    Condenser: DENSO

    Expansion valve: DENSO

    Ignition Coil: DENSO

Spark plugs: DENSO (However NGK is technically also, so I would get whatever deal is better)

    Power Steering lines: SUNSONG

    Rack & Pinion: CARDONE

Shocks: BILSTEIN (there 5100 series are better for almost same price)

Clutch: AISIN (EXEDY is very good quality and a little cheaper)

This is only a list of some common parts I come across that require replacement, If you have one your looking at just make a post and I can chime in or try and find the OEM brand for you.

I wonder why I couldn’t find a Denso condenser for my 2015 4.0. No parts place says there made.

I checked it that out they should be the same part numbers, it may be that after market catalogs have not updated there info, or if i remember correctly with some parts after market is not allowed to sell them for so many years after it is released on a new model, kind of like an anti competitor thing.

For the most part they should be. I know this is correct for the 2nd gens, but on some of the 3rd gens depending on the model they did use different brands, such as the shocks are either bilstein, hitachi, or fox if im correct.
