Hey y’all! I have 2019 Tacoma and my radio seems to be on the fritz. Literally will be on a call then on the screen it will say call ended but the person is still on the physical phone. I’ve taken it to my Toyota dealership 4 times and have got some dumb help. Any where from don’t connect your phone for a week or it needs an update. Phone software is update as well. Yet no resolution, anyone having this issue. What should I do? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Might be time to upgrade your head unit. The entune system is awful. I can’t have my work phone and personal phone paired with it (not connected) at the same time because neither will play music or sync phone calls. I have to unpair one of them to get the other to work through entune.

Too many to list. I’m lazy
My 18 did the same thing. Used to just turn off and re-boot while I was driving too. Totaled it before I ever got a chance to investigate/ find a fix but haven’t had any issues with the 20 and the CarPlay. Makes me wonder if this is why so many TW members swap out for new head units.

Make sure your phone has the truck only set in Bluetooth. Mine did the same thing and I deleted all my Bluetooth connections from the phone and put the Tacoma back in and only the Tacoma. It has worked fine since.

What kind of head unit would you recommend?

I have had my unit into the dealership multiple times on this issue and they even swapped out the head unit. Same result on the Bluetooth issue and software update. I am looking to swap out my head unit for a car play unit.
