    For interior spatial reference, my former garage was very close in size, 755 SF, one long single-wide bay, and a shorter 2-wide bay. Also note that there are many built-in cabinets in here that make it looks smaller and shallower than it is. Cabinets varied from 24 in. to 18 in. deep.

    But it gives you a general idea. And his outside storage will add more than half as much more for cellulose and very large splinters.

    Well....TBH.....it’s not like there was a lot of finishing work AND it was only 12 yards. I imagine your buddy pushed the hose around, your wife vibrated (not meant to be funny) and you made sure all your anchor bolts were correct and supervised the whole operation which lasted a total of an hour max.

    Nice! Simply Nice! I hate when the hold down bolts are in the wrong place...what a pain it can be.



    I am guessing that someone used a concrete vibrator on the pour, I don't know why more people don't use one

    Got everything stripped , I'm pretty happy with how it turned out . One corner separated a tiny bit and I lost the fines but I can tune that up if I decide to

    I'm just cleaning forms and de-nailing lumber now , infill / backfill will be next week

    So looks like my machine operator isn't going to get here till Saturday for infill / backfill but I need a drainage inspection before we can do that so I'm going to do the drain tile / drain rock by hand so I can get inspection on Friday

    Yesterday I finished some clean up and applied the damp-proofing emulsion



    Today I cleared out some material that had sloughed up against the footings where I need to install my perforated drain pipe .

    I draped some geotech fabric over and down the side of the footing and up the bank , secured with some 8" long nails for now . This fabric will wrap over the drain pipe and drain rock after it is installed prior to backfill.

    After that I installed some Superseal dimpled membrane to eliminate any hydrostatic pressure . I still need to install the top closure strips.

    Tomorrow I'll install the 4" perforated PVC drain tile and drain rock

    Inspection is scheduled for Friday

    So I got all my drain pipe and drain rock installed over the last 2 days , I can honestly say that it was a bit more of a marathon for one guy with a wheelbarrow than I thought it was going to be , I'm pretty tired tonight haha .








    I ran an interior weeping tile at the base of the rear wall where the excavation is at it's deepest




    Some of my pipework was a bit of plastic origami , like here where the 2 exterior pipes connect with the pipe I cast in the footing to link up with the interior weeper at the bottom corner of the foundation




    Inspection still on for tomorrow , all drain rock then gets covered with geotech fabric before backfill

    And scheduling change of plans , excavator is coming mid morning tomorrow to begin compacted infill
