******Camburg UB install question ----- in middle of install******

Ok, everything is almost in. However I cannot, at all on either side tighten the uniball bolts. Cannot get them on or off... if anyone has any advice of where to go from here that would be appreciated.

 

Are you holding the top to keep the bolt from spinning?

Edit: I’m about to go to sleep but if that is the case and you’re wondering wtf to hold the top of the bolt with, a standard 12 point socket fits on there. Just looks different from what you’re used to.

if you are holding it and the nut is just stuck, well you’re SOL because it’s either cross threaded or wrong hardware.

 

Yup, the shit won't budge even with my little brother cranking one way and me the other. Threads look good too. I'm stumped.

 

that is odd. It shouldn’t be that difficult. Maybe wrong hardware or something? When I installed a pair of these it was no different than any other nut and bolt. Dunno, I’m at a loss. I’d call camburg in the morning

well shit, good thing is camburg isn't too far from you guys so should be able to get some hardware tomorrow.

Any updates?

 

Drove down to Camburg and they got me some new bolts. So far I've cut one one and re bolted it. Put anti seize on the bolt to help the strover nut not get stuck and it worked well. Now just trying to figure out how to hold the top of the bolt in place to torque it. Hoping lowes has a thin walled socket.

 

And I'm done!
