    Hi everyone,

    After months of research on tacomaworld and watching youtube videos I pulled the trigger and bought a new 2020 TRD OR DCSB MT! Really looking forward to using it for renovation projects, camping trips with the growing family (2y/o + 1 otw), and work around the house. I'm coming from an 03 WRX wagon MT and the difference is serious haha. But I've already picked up some building materials from the store, chucked them in the bed and didn't have to use my wife's CRV. Huge plus!

    I need to temper my excitement and not go crazy buying things for the truck but it's so hard. There's so many fun and functional things I want. I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about. I've already order the AMP bed extender to maximize my useable bedspace for things like lumbar and appliances. What are your first purchases? Got any must buy items?

    I still love my car, think I'm keeping her even though I planned on selling her. Too much sentimental value aside from still being fun to drive. Just not as practical anymore.

    Question about the grill: The dealer told me that the Toyota logo on the grill has a sensor in it for the auto braking safety feature. If that is the case, do you have any recommendations for TRD PRO grills that still support that feature?

    That boxer engine must be a curse to fix and a blessing to hear. Lol.

    Yes, the new tacomas have a TSS sensor behind the logo. If you wanted a TRD Pro grill, make sure it has the garnish for the sensor...this shiny plastic piece under the "TOYOTA". I had a 2016 so this didnt apply to me, but many manufacturers make them with the garnish now i believe.

    So far the only issue I have with the car is a small oil leak, but that is expected with a 17 yo car. I just top her off every so often. She still runs and sounds beautiful.

    Thanks for the info on the garnish!
