    Hey all!

I've done a little reading to familiarize myself with suspension systems, but I was hoping to get some dialogue to clarify some things. I'm running a 2019 Sport DCSB. I'd really like to have a smoother ride when cruising down rocky roads, bumpy roads, or poorly maintained paved roads. Been doing a lot of camping and rough trails. I like the idea of being able to tackle a road like that at a decent clip without rattling every bolt in the truck loose. Or even doing some higher speed sand trails for fun. I know. I know. I should've gotten an OR for starters, but I had no idea I'd want to use it in this way when I bought it. So like I said, I've read up a little and it seems like coilover offers the smoothest ride, but can't be used with solid axles like our rear axle.(?)

    TLDR:
What type of suspension should I look into if I want to take on rough trails/roads without tons of rattle?

Sounds like you want a shock with soft valving

We can definitely get you some custom valved shocks to ride smooth on those roads and trails. If you don't want to lift the truck, just stock height replacement shocks will help out a lot. Getting adjusters on the shocks, you could also fine tune it a bit to ride smoother or softer for street/offroad use.
