    Received this letter about a week ago stating that certain Tacoma’s (2001-2017 models) have been reported regarding vehicle frame corrosion when operated in specific cold climate areas with high road salt usage...

    So yes we know about Tacoma’s rusty frame issues but this is the first time I’ve seen Toyota address it.

    They list the “Cold Climate States.” I have my truck registered in North Carolina, but it’s not listed here.

    Just curious how many other people are receiving this and the likelihood of them replacing a frame out of the listed “cold climate states.”
