What's your best sub $1k scope recommendations?

    My scope research is dated by a few years, but if remember SWFA has very nice glass but few cool features and often fixed zoom. Their 3-15x FFP Mil is $700 and 3-9x is $600

    Their fixed power line is much cheaper, some say more durable too

    I can sacrifice some features for glass clarity and cost, but zoom isn't one of them. If I was marrying the scope to a gun and shooting a set distance, maybe. I move my scopes a lot between guns and like to adjust zoom depending on range and caliber.
    They are durable though from what I recall.
