Getting back into golfing. I took lessons every summer like 13 years ago then just never played. Bought a set of Callaway XR irons to get my want to play going. This is going to be great

I have no brand loyalty. I hit a couple of drivers the other day and liked the Callaway MAVRIK and the Taylormade M6.

At this point, whatever is on sale and not the newest model is ok with me. The Vokey is a used demo in almost pristine condition. Got it for $70

I mean, I will probably keep my wedges the same brand since my Irons are Callaway XRs. Other than that, fairways, driver and putter won't be the same. How do you like the Tour Edge clubs? Been seeing them on some sites but haven't heard reviews on them

Yeah I’m that way now since I just replaced my putter with an Odyssey and soon wedges (whatever I can find in good shape at like a play it again sports) however I had a connection with a pro who got me a heavy discount on Taylormade so since I got that set about 6 years ago I mainly been taylormade.

Just purchased 300 sq ft of artificial bent grass turf for my backyard putting green. It'll be like Christmas in July.

Took advantage of the PXG sale they had going on and finally upgraded my putter. Went with the PXG Brandon Gen2 putter in black, black shaft and black fatty grip. Love the feel so far, much better head weight than my previous Odyssey putter... has a more pendulum feel to it.

My irons are the TaylorMade M2's and my driver is a Callaway Big Bertha demo model.

Here's my take on Bryson DeChambeau. This is just an observation...I know he's only 26. He swings hard! I'm just thinking that he's going to blow out his back and his career will be cut short.
Other wise he's still interesting w/his mad math..lol.

So I've been shanking my 5-iron a lot lately, which used to be my best club, period. After closer inspection there was damage that was way worse than I thought:

    IMG_2239.jpg

It looks like just the rubber insert came out but if you really look close the grooved face of the club is caving in. I even put a straight edge across the head face and there is a gap there. After more research this seems to be a common problem with the TaylorMade M2's so I submitted a warranty claim through their website. I just thought they would replace my 5-iron, but to may shocking surprise they are going to send me a whole new set of irons, the SIM MAX model. Pretty stoked!

That’s some customer service right there. Do you have to send your old set in to them?
