Is my dealer right on the frame recall?

My dealer told me that they inspect the frame for missing plugs and if they are missing they spray it and put in plugs. My truck has not been driven in snow and they said they will call when the parts come in.

 

I was told the same thing in Canada

 

I assumed they only worked on it if there was rust. Thanks.

 

Had mine done a couple weeks ago at dealer. They inspected and said I was missing some plugs. They ordered new ones and I went back and they put them in. No spray.

 

My dealer said it was a day-long thing and I would get a rental.

 

I was told to kick sand. So I went to the beach. I guess the salty Southern California air isn’t enough to warrant the recall.
