MESO Puddle Light build

It's all good. If I remember correctly, you helped me on my raptor lights on my '17 last summer some-time. Keep doing what you're doing.

 

Hey @MESO & @drewmo ... y'all planning on replenishing any of your stock for your 20% off Memorial Day sale this weekend? (Puddle pods, turn signals, FlipFlob, Door Handles and/or Total Tail 1) Just wondering before I hit that Checkout button to save on some shipping.

 

Unfortunately door handles and flip fobs are not released yet. Total tails and ultimate mirror signals are getting finished up but won’t be until later next week or the following

 

Please tell me when you're referring to ultimate mirror signals you actually mean V5?

Turns out @MESO's harness is wired to do *exactly* what I want with proximity *out of the box*, with no changes to my existing door lock settings either.


Now, I need to install the switch, but I'm out of slots... guess I need to buy some more @MESO products to fix that problem... I hear he's got some custom switch panels?

 

Added some more lights to compliment mesos great work and figured I would share. I feel these go really well with his great work on the puddle lights

 

Great idea! Just installed my MESO red start button... looks cool. My son gave me some ground lights that fit 4-Runners and a few other Toyota's but not the Tacoma...bummer. They install on the bottom portion of the door and light up a cool Toyota logo on the ground. Looking forward to these new lights on the mirrors.

Did you wire up your rock lights to the puddle pods... or did you use the DISM?

 

Thank you much . They are wired into the cargo light switch so they come on with unlock,when the doors are opened and can be turned on manually by the cargo light switch. I now have all of my extra lights switches located in the left side panel where the cubby was. I will post a couple pics when I get home

Anyone mind reminding me the post number of just telling me which color wire on the switch needs power provided on the V1 harness? Search through thread now.

Not a big deal, the black wire coming off the back of the new puddle switch just has to tap to any illumination wire.

 

@DSRamsey13 here is a pic of how all of my lights are controlled. Top switches are ch4x4 custom switches with amber backlight. I have all the switches running to relays to control all everything and keep the switches from burning out from to much Amp draw seeing as they are rated at only 3 amps I wanted to be safe and not sorry. First switch is rigid radiance backlighting for my ditch and bumper lights. Second switch is my ditch lights and the third switch closest to the steering wheel is for my bumper light. Below those from left to right is my cargo light switch for the bed lights and rocklights. Then my bed accessories power switch. Then our favorite modder meso puddle light switch. Then I have my clutch start cancel switch. I moved my rear window switch to the center console using accessorides pre-made extension to avoid cutting or splicing and to keep the lights together all on the left. The raptor grill lights come on whenever the ignition is on so no extra switch needed for them to operate. In the pic I have the radiance switch on to show backlighting as I was waiting to fuse tap for them to be illuminated with my running lights until I got my meso custom extended fuse box cover which actually came in yesterday so I will get that finished and then it should be all set and well lit.

I really appreciate that. I was going for the stock but better look and it wouldn't have turned out the way it did without alot of reading and research, the awesome members of this forum and mesos amazing mods.
