    Hey guys,

My dad just took some All-terrain 275/65/R18's off his F-250 and offered them to me. I would love to put them on my '17 Limited (which currently has the stock 265/60/R18 tires), but I am afraid that they would be incompatible on the current stock ride height. I've seen conflicting opinions in these forums, as I do not anticipate using the Tacoma for offroading, but no definite yes/no to my use case.

I'm thinking of getting a lift/leveling kit and bringing it to my local shop and first putting the tires on, checking for rub, and if there is, have them install the lift/level as well. If the tires work, and the lift/level is not necessary, I would return the kit altogether.

    3 Questions

    1. Does anyone have any experience with 275/65/R18's on stock height?
    2. How much (how many inches) of a lift/level would I need to keep it from rubbing?
    3. Does my approach to trying tires first w/o lift, then applying a lift if necessary sound reasonable? Or would that not work?
